To remember:

  • Explosive rematch between Joshua Van and Alexandre Pantoja for the flyweight title at UFC 331.
  • Arman Tsarukyan, undefeated since 2021, faces Mauricio Ruffy in a five-round bout for a shot at the lightweight title.
  • The main event, airing at 9 PM on Paramount+, promises a tactical and intense showdown.

This Saturday, UFC 331 is set to be one of the most anticipated events of the year, featuring a blockbuster main event: the Joshua Van vs Alexandre Pantoja rematch for the flyweight title. Their first bout, cut short by a Pantoja elbow injury at UFC 323, saw Van emerge victorious. This time, the two will clash at 11:30 PM (Eastern Time) in a fight that could redefine the division.
The event, airing live starting at 9 PM on Paramount+, promises to be a tactical battle. Pantoja, determined to erase his loss, will need to adapt to Van’s pace, now more mature and strategic. “I know this time, he’ll be harder to beat,” Pantoja stated before the fight. Van, for his part, is banking on a more calculated approach to retain his title.

Arman Tsarukyan Seeks a New Opportunity

In the lead-up to the main event, Arman Tsarukyan faces Mauricio Ruffy in a five-round bout. A win could open the door to a future lightweight title shot. Undefeated since 2021, Tsarukyan enters with confidence after his quick submission of Dan Hooker last November. “I want to show I’m ready for the top,” he declared.

An Event Not to Be Missed

With this packed card, UFC 331 promises intense fights and major stakes. Whether it’s for the flyweight belt or a future lightweight opportunity, every athlete will be determined to make history. Don’t miss this 9 PM showdown on Paramount+!

UFC 331 stands as a must-watch event for MMA fans, with decisive fights and futures on the line. Between revenge and opportunities, this Saturday is set to be electric.

Damn, this Joshua vs Pantoja is Die Hard in pajamas with gloves! Two guys who already hate each other in real life, and now they’re about to tear each other apart in the cage like two rutting lions under the spotlight. Van, the king who played the badass role too well in 2023, is going to need more finesse than his elbow strike back in 2020. Pantoja, on the other hand, looks like a guy who finally gets that MMA is like Jurassic Park: if you don’t manage your stress, the T-Rex (in this case, Van) eats you. But hey, the pre-show’s Tsarukyan vs Ruffy could be the cleanest fight of the night—if "clean" means "no low blows." The guy looks like a well-oiled machine, ready to climb the division like a Batman in "silent justice" mode. Too bad he has to go through Ruffy, a guy who looks like OSS 117 in "I fight with my feet like a tap dancer" mode. In short: if you miss this, it’s like skipping Star Wars on VHS. See you at 9 PM to find out if Pantoja finally pops Van’s bubble, or if the title stays with a king too scared to show his weaknesses. And whatever you do, don’t bring up this fight with Pantoja afterward… his kick hurts.
