Ah, Rak Erawan’s return is always a bit like waiting for a new Battlestar Galactica episode after a long radio silence: you wonder if he’ll bring the fire or just hot air. A tighter guard is good, but between us, against Hern, you can’t just talk technique—you’ve got to move like a cat on a piano keyboard. Hern, for his part, has worked on his core and speed, but a punch from Ryuya Okuwaki leaves deeper scars than a poorly scripted Jurassic Park. The real question is whether Rak will finally break his two-fight losing streak curse, or if Hern will remind him that Muay Thai is like OSS 117: you’ve got to know how to play it smart between the lines. Stay tuned, but bring popcorn and coffee, just in case.
